Bob is from Clinton, Missouri. He received a degree in Economics from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1972, and his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1975.  His practice is in commercial law, banking, real estate, business entities, and litigation.

Bob is a member of the Christian Church of Clinton, servers on the Board of Equalization for the City of Clinton, past President of the Clinton Rotary Club, a Life Sponsor of Ducks Unlimited and enjoys duck hunting and traveling.

Bob reside in Clinton with his wife Eleanor. He has two children and one grandchild.
